550 GOLDSTREAM AVENUE

The 550 Goldstream Avenue project is a 4-storey mixed use redevelopment for the M’akola Housing Society, and provides ‘stable, high-quality housing’ for families of First Nations ancestry, in the Westshore area. The facility is also home to M’akola’s head offices for administration and development services. Murdoch de Greeff Inc. collaborated successfully with M’akola and the design team to develop a landscape that integrates rainwater management, ecological values, and site aesthetics. The landscape is designed to be low maintenance and low water-use, through careful and strategic selection of hardscape and plant materials.
