Jennifer brings a systems-based approach to landscape design shaped by her backgrounds in environmental science and landscape architecture. Before joining MDI, she worked on climate change and geomatics projects with Parks Canada, Natural Resources Canada and the Pacific Institute for Climate Solutions, and contributed to Indigenous community planning and private-sector landscape projects. At MDI, she supports housing, health care and urban development work, combining human-scale design with 3D modelling, BIM, visualization and GIS. Her work connects ecological systems, climate adaptation and community resilience to create practical landscapes with lasting value.
Jennifer's combined expertise in environmental science, climate analysis, GIS, BIM and visualization helps MDI connect broad systems thinking with detailed design. She can analyze environmental conditions, model options and communicate spatial ideas clearly to clients and consultant teams. This strengthens coordination and helps projects respond to climate risk, human needs and site conditions from the earliest stages of design.
