Sarah combines a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture with hands-on experience in landscape installation and maintenance. This practical background informs her approach to planting, material selection and long-term care. At MDI, she contributes to learning and healing environments, public spaces, housing and integrated rainwater projects, bringing strong communication, visual design and technical documentation skills to the team. Sarah is particularly interested in accessible, restorative landscapes that invite people outdoors and strengthen their connection with the natural world. Her collaborative approach helps bridge creative design and practical delivery.
Sarah's maintenance and installation experience helps MDI consider how landscapes will establish, change and be cared for after construction. She brings a practical lens to planting design and detailing, along with strong communication and visualization skills. This helps teams create landscapes that are attractive and ecologically diverse, while also being realistic to build, maintain and use over time.
