Tamara brings more than 20 years of experience connecting people, communities and natural systems. Her education in ecological restoration, environmental design and landscape architecture gives her a broad understanding of how public spaces can support social and ecological well-being. She leads complex projects across health care, affordable housing, campuses, streetscapes and parks, and is especially skilled at bringing clients, consultants, community members and end users into the design process. Tamara's work is grounded in place and focused on creating accessible, welcoming landscapes that deliver lasting value for people and the environment.
Tamara's combined expertise in ecological restoration and landscape architecture helps MDI design places that support both natural systems and everyday life. She is particularly valuable on projects with many users, stakeholders or competing requirements, where listening, facilitation and consensus-building shape better decisions. Her ability to connect ecological performance with accessibility, culture and community use helps teams create landscapes that are well-resolved, inclusive and designed to function over time.
